Hardy, perfumed and an exceptional screening plant, growing to 2m in height. Best planted in a semi shaded position and does not mind (but does not need) wet feet. Very easy to grow, and requiring very little effort to maintain. Clump forming. Highly fragrant flowers.
Large pieces offered.
When planting your ginger, select a semi shaded position (It will grown in the full sun, but may show the effects of foliage burn from the summer sun). Prepare your ground and add in some organic material.
Lie the rhizome 5cm under the soil, cover, water in and allow the plant to take care of itself.
